Saint Ultans Super Senior Strings Ensemble Perform In Limerick

[slideshow_deploy id=’4038’]

Our most senior ensemble, SUSSS (St Ultans Super Senior Strings) did us proud on May 10th at the National Final of the Waltons Music for Schools Competition.

The Orchestra was one of only six primary school groups in the country to be chosen to play in the National Final in the University Concert Hall, Limerick.

While many of the violinists have been learning their instrument since Senior Infants, the viola and double bass sections only began tuition last September. Their progress is nothing short of astounding.

We are so proud to be able to showcase their talent and hard work at a national level. They are wonderful ambassadors for the St Ultans Campus.

Here they are on that prestigious stage, giving it their all:

Watch, listen and enjoy!!
